If you are able to avoid these costly mistakes in the earlier part of your business start-up as an entrepreneur, you have eventually began your entrepreneurship career on a good foundation. But here comes the bigger question. - How can you avoid what you did not know would come?

Here are some common mistakes that you could easily avoid as an entrepreneur.

0. Over-spending or Under-spending

At the beginning of your career as an entrepreneur, you are challenged with the notion to pump all you can into your business so as to have a standard and well set-up business. However, in order to be on a safer side, it is best to not spend too much as your expectations might not come as planned and you are likely to be encounter much loss since you pumped in so much at the start.

In the light of this, by spending too little for your start-up business you are already building a sub-standard brand that people are not likely to patronize when they come across it.

As a rule of every investment, never invest too much neither should you invest too little. In other words, do not put what you cannot afford to lose.

0. Thinking you have no competitors
This thought is so deceptive and not profitable. No matter how unique your business brand might be, there are some businesses that have a similar business venture with yours. It is best to make it a goal not to avoid your competitors but to learn from them. What are they doing different that you are neglecting?

The lesson to learn from here is the fact that both entrepreneurs rates Google as high brand that could be difficult to beat or defeat.

0. Not setting attainable goals
It is fine to dream bigger and aim higher but what happens when what your targets does not meet your expectation? You get frustrated and you might want to quit. This is because your expectations are too high to be achieved.

Sometime ago, I told a friend of mine that anything is possible in our world today. I dismissed that quote when he asked me ‘Can human beings fly?’ In reality, there are some things that cannot just happen no matter how hard we try to make it work.

0. Having no marketing plan
How can your business progress if you did not create an awareness of what your business is all about? There are numerous digital ways to market your products. Some of which includes, Facebook ads and e-mail marketing. The general name for this is ‘Digital Marketing’.

Since we live in a digital world, creating an awareness that is digital based is cheaper and affordable. Another advantage of this is that with the digital method of marketing, you are able to reach a large number of people within the shortest possible time.

Your marketing plan must be top notch
